HABC Level 3 National Award in Delivering Training (ADT)

The HABC Level 3 National Award in Delivering Training (ADT) is designed for anyone who wishes to train others within their own organisation. It is ideal for new entrants into the teaching industry. It may be used by learners who wish to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical experience before progressing onto the following:

  • HABC Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector
  • HABC Level 4 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector

The Level 3 National Award in Delivering Training (ADT) is a three day course that is flexible in its classroom based delivery. The award can be delivered over 3 consecutive days or shorter sessions of 3 hours per week delivered over a maximum 6 week period.

The Award in Delivering Training consists of two sections:

The award comprises of two assessments, a theory assessment and a practical assessment

  • Assessment 1: Is a written assessment,
  • Assessment 2: Is a practical assessment  

Programme entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for the ADT award.

How is it achieved?

During the qualification learners will produce a portfolio of evidence that will meet the learning outcomes from the two sections listed above. This will consist of 1 theory assessments and 1 practical assessment.

Duration: 3 Days

Cost: £280 plus VAT

Assessment 2:

The practical assessment consists of one 30 minute micro-teach session delivered as part of the programme, where both tutor and peer feedback will be given.
