BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint for Door Supervisors and Security Staff
The BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint Practice for Security Staff and Door Supervisors course allows for all staff the opportunity to achieve a Nationally Recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification on the knowledge, understanding and skills learners need to undertake appropriate and effective physical restraint to an intermediate standard.

Escorting and Disengagement Skills for Security Staff (1 Day)
This course is compliant and recognised by the Security Industry Authority as the minimum required.
Cost: £999 (£500 deposit and £499 due one week prior to course start date)

Additional info: To get your Close Protection license, you will also need to have attained a First Aid at Work or First Person on Scene certificate. We offer the First Aid at Work course at a reduced fee of only £100, so you can take this with us before or after your Close Protection training.
The HABC Award for Scottish Personal Licence Holders (On and Off Sales) is a qualification aimed at anyone working in or preparing to work in any industry that involves the retail sale of alcohol. It is a pre requisite for anyone who wishes to hold a personal licence.
The qualification is based on the training specification drawn up by the National Licensing Forum for those involved in the retail sale of alcohol (on and off sales) This specification enables learners to meet the requirements of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
A Free SCPLH Handbook is provided to all candidates.

The HABC Level 2 Award in Managing Fire Safety is a qualification aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Persons gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of a fire in any premises.
The aim of the HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification is to provide candidates with knowledge of the basic Health and Safety practices that are essential in the workplace. This includes the hazards and risks presented in the workplace along with the relevant legislation, and ensures awareness of cost-effective, practical control methods.
The qualification is applicable for any private or public sector working environment and provides employees with an awareness of their own safety, as well as the safety of customers, contractors and members of the public.
The achievement of the HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification will enable learners to work safely and to recognise and deal with hazards in the workplace.
